Electronics & Communication Engineering (B E)

ECE is a branch of engineering that combines electronics engineering and Computer, Information and communication technology. With Digital Revolution that has taken the world by storm, B.E. graduates in this stream have ample and challenging job opportunities in the country and abroad.

OBJECTIVES

We are going to develop the Technical & Communication Skills of the students from the first year. Arrangements for the communication skill development courses to give the students an executive style of communication. Special seminars on recent emerging Fields. Arranging National level & International level conferences on recent Technologies. Compulsory Industrial Visit and In-plant training during vacations. More sessions to give training on aptitude & technical concepts. Motivating the students to do more Mini projects. To encourage the students to exhibit their talents in technical & Non-technical events, the ECE Association is to be formed. This association will completely work for the benefit of the ECE students.

About the department

The ECE Department has been in the fore-front to impart quality education to its students. The department provides a holistic environment for the overall development of the student. It takes keen interest in student counselling and their career guidance.The department was established in the year 2008 for UG i.e. B. E. programme. Subsequently, PG i.e. M. E. (Embedded Systems) was introduced in the year 2012 and Polytechnic course i.e. Diploma in Communication Engineering (DCE) programme was introduced in the year 2013.The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty. Presently, the total strength of the teaching faculty is 16 out of which 13 faculty are M.E degree holders and the remaining 3 are pursuing their M.E. programme.The department is equipped with the state- of-the-art equipments.
